American Indian Programs

American Indian Program provides advising and academic assistance; sponsors cultural and social events for students; assists with job placement and job referrals. All students are eligible to use these services. Computer lab is available in Garcia Annex, Room 132, 8AM-5PM.
Black Programs

Black Programs provides counseling and academic assistance; maintains a library of Black Studies materials; sponsors cultural and social events for students; and assists with job placement and job referrals. All students are eligible to use services.
Career Services

The Career Services department administers Cooperative Education and Internships, off campus student employment, professional employment, career fairs, on-campus recruiting, job search assistance, resume and cover letter reviews, practice interviews, personal appointments, workshops and formal presentations. Orientations are held daily and services open to everyone registered in the AggieTRAK system.
Chicano Programs

Chicano Programs offers advocacy services for students with a number of academic, financial or life issues. Students may take advantage of a computer lab/lounge, free fax and long distance when applying for a job or internship. An e-mail list provides information on scholarships, internships, and campus events. Chicano Programs also provides support to thirteen Hispanic student organizations. All students may access services at Chicano Programs.
Cooperative Education

Cooperative Education is experienced-based learning for college students through paid employment in practical, curriculum-related work assignments. Employment plans include alternating (full-time, often multiple experiences) or parallel (part-time experience concurrent with full-time school). At NMSU, a Co-op is a formally recognized educational program designated on a student's academic transcript.
NMSU Student Media

NMSU Student Media, a component of the Associated Students of New Mexico State University, as its mission provides the university community with coverage of news and entertainment from and beyond campus that could affect the students, faculty and staff of New Mexico State University. Student media provides modern learning laboratories in print and electronic mediums for all NMSU students interested in journalism, broadcasting, marketing, advertising, business management and personnel relations. NMSU Student Media offers part-time employment for the students of New Mexico State University as well as skills to help them learn, live and thrive.
