Most students who live on campus earn higher grade point averages, enjoy their college experience more and graduate sooner than students living off campus. NMSU’s Office of Housing and Residential Life provides a variety of on-campus communities, including residence halls, apartments, and single-family homes. Residents can participate in Living Learning Communities that provide a greater sense of community and integration with academic and social interests. Housing staff live in the communities and are specifically trained to be a resource for residents, adding to the value and convenience of campus living.
