The Associated Students of New Mexico State University (ASNMSU) was established as the student government in 1910 with, the purpose of serving the students of New Mexico State University. It has utilized some of the top undergraduate and graduate leaders in the southwest to shape the future of, and to establish premiere services and programs for New Mexico's university of choice.
Degree Application

To receive a diploma from New Mexico State University, an student must have or will completed all degree requirements within one semester and applied for degree. The cost to submit a degree application is $25 for Associate (2 years) and Bachelor’s degree; $35 for Graduate degrees. A late fee of $25 will be added to applications received after last day to apply without a late fee.

Distance Education at NMSU allows students physically remote from the campus and/or instructor may continue in their education. Students with limiting schedules also benefit from the freedom of distance education. Course delivery may include face-to-face interaction and/or synchronous or asynchronous written, electronic, or other media forms.

The Office of Study Abroad helps NMSU undergraduate and graduate students to find international study programs for which they may earn NMSU credit and prepares them to travel abroad safely. The Office also helps incoming international exchange students to adjust to living and studying at NMSU.
