Chicano Programs offers advocacy services for students with a number of academic, financial or life issues. Students may take advantage of a computer lab/lounge, free fax and long distance when applying for a job or internship. An e-mail list provides information on scholarships, internships, and campus events. Chicano Programs also provides support to thirteen Hispanic student organizations. All students may access services at Chicano Programs.

Pan American Center

The Pan American Center is a 13,000 seat multi-purpose arena in Las Cruces, New Mexico, located on the campus of New Mexico State University. The arena serves as home court for the New Mexico State Aggies Men's and Women's Basketball and Women's Volleyball teams. The Pan American Center has also been a prolific host to a wide variety of concerts and special events from bullriding, NBA pre-season games, professional wrestling, and boxing matches, to the annual Las Cruces International Mariachi Conference and numerous touring Broadway productions.

With its 512 seat capacity and newly installed state of the art sound system, performances in the Music Recital Hall are truly and excellent entertainment experience. Annual events include the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra, ASNMSU Cultural Series, the Dona Ana Lyric Opera Series, the NMSU Choirs Series, the Power of Winds Series, the Keyboard Concert Series, and the Las Cruces Chamber Ballet's rendition of "the Nutcracker".
