Black Programs

Black Programs provides counseling and academic assistance; maintains a library of Black Studies materials; sponsors cultural and social events for students; and assists with job placement and job referrals. All students are eligible to use services.

Chicano Programs

Chicano Programs offers advocacy services for students with a number of academic, financial or life issues. Students may take advantage of a computer lab/lounge, free fax and long distance when applying for a job or internship. An e-mail list provides information on scholarships, internships, and campus events. Chicano Programs also provides support to thirteen Hispanic student organizations. All students may access services at Chicano Programs.

Social Work Services for Students

Social Work Services are provided for students who need help finding supports and resources on campus and in the community. It is a service to help students advocate for themselves and learn to navigate university and community programs. Full and part-time undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for services. The Social Worker will meet with students to assess the student's areas of need and work with them to set up a plan to address those needs.
